Refunds and cancelling

This works the way an app subscription works. Cancel whenever you like, keep what you already paid for, and you are never charged again after you cancel.

What you are paying for

A 3-day free trial, then $20 per month, charged again each month until you cancel. No minimum term, no sign-up fee, no cancellation fee.

Starting the trial does need a real card — that is Stripe’s checkout, not something I can turn off — but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel during those 3 days and you pay nothing at all.

Cancelling

Go to your account page and press Manage billing or cancel. That opens Stripe’s own billing page, where one click stops it.

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not cut you off on the spot — you keep the full month you already paid for, right up to the renewal date, and your account page shows you that date. Cancel on day two and you still have twenty-eight days of access.

Refunds

Payments already taken are not refunded. If you meant to cancel and forgot, that month is not refundable — the cancel button is on your account page at all times and the renewal date is shown next to it.

Two things I will always put right, without an argument:

If your card fails

Stripe retries a failed card for a few days, and you keep access while it does — you should not lose your practice mid-week over a card that expired. If it never goes through, the subscription ends and access stops.

If you stop subscribing

Your account and your practice history stay for 30 days. Subscribe again inside that month and everything is exactly where you left it. After 30 days the account and its records are deleted for good.
